Desktop Instructions

  • Click the button that says “Choose from computer”
  • In the popup file window, navigate to the the location on your computer where the video is located and select the file
  • On the next screen please enter your first name, last name, and email address in the fields provided and then tap “Upload”

Recommendations for Video Recording

  • TIME MARGIN: Regardless of the total length of your video, leave a space at the beginning and end of 10 seconds to insert transitions. (As a recommendation the participant in front of the camera smiling for 10 seconds).
  • RESOLUTION: The ideal resolution required is 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps, if not possible, the minimum will be 1280 x 720 at 25 fps.
  • AUDIO: Please pay special attention to the audio as well as a good image is important as well as the sound. Speak clearly and in a medium to high voice if you will be using the microphone of the recording device as your only means. It is essential that there are no distracting sounds such as cell phones, cars, pets, and even echoes.
  • EDITING: Do not add text, pictures, titles, headlines, logos or any other element to the video (this will be done by the production team of the event), please send it free of edits.
  • FILE NOMENCLATURE: We invite you to name your file with the following nomenclature: Name of the participant and segment. For example: “FredSmith.Speaker.mp4”
